We have modern facility for Hard Chromium plating for industrial machinery parts. Hard Chromium plating is used for corrosion & wear resistance property and for low coefficient of friction. This is electrolysis process. The parts are made cathodic and special inert anodes are made electrically positive. We regularly analyse bath chemistry that results in good quality bright hard chrome plating.
As the process is electrolysis, special fixtures and confirming anode design play a vital role in good quality deposit. The plated layer is hard upto 65 HRC. Some of the jobs we have done upto 500 microns thickness.
Hard chrome plating is used for piston rods, shafts, rollers, cylinders, rubber and plastic moulds, rebuilding worn-out parts and bearing journals. HCP deposits are used to increase service life of functional parts by increasing their resistance to wear, abrasion, heat and corrosion.
